EXPERIMENTATION: ink and print

Using images of models and words with ink and cyanotype. I particularly like this image of women at a Trump rally, they all look the same – identikit blonde stereotypes. Why?

Here I’ve used some ink and posca pens on images of women in the media, picking out words associated with their physical image or worth as a woman. I love the way the ink has pooled in the creases in the paper: it looks like clouds on their horizons. Here two out of three have their eyes shut and this is a common theme… women shouldnt be active, noticing what’s going on around them…
